Driving Directions

From Queens, Nassau and Suffolk:  Take the Belt Parkway (towards JFK Airport) to Exit 17S – Cross Bay Boulevard.  Proceed through Howard Beach, continue over the bridge and proceed through the community of Broad Channel to the Cross Bay Bridge (toll road).  Stay to the left and follow signs to Shore Front Parkway (along 95^th Street) to the end/water. Make a left onto Shore Front Parkway and proceed east thru white gates (At Beach 67^th street) to the Sales Office at end.

From Brooklyn: Take the Belt Parkway (towards JFK Airport) to Exit 11S – Flatbush Avenue South, towards the Rockaways. Continue onto Marine Parkway Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge (toll road).  Slight left on to Beach Channel Drive, then turn right Beach onto Beach 108^th Street to the end.  Loop onto Shore Front Parkway and proceed east thru white gates (at Beach 67^th Street) to the Sales Office at the end.

Two ferries are available to The Rockaways from East 34th Street & Pier 11/Wall Street in Manhattan:

Directions to East 34th Street Ferry

The East 34th Street Ferry Landing is located at the intersection of East 34th Street and the FDR Drive near the Midtown heliport on the East River. To reach this location by subway, take the 4, 5, or 6 train to East 33rd St and then go up two blocks to East 35th. Turn right and follow down to the water.

Directions to Pier 11/Wall Street Ferry

Pier 11 is located in downtown Manhattan on South Street between Wall Street and Gouveneur Lane. Take MTA subway #2 and #3 to Wall St. Walk down Wall St. 2 blocks to South Street. Turn right on South Street. Pier 11 will be on the left.

Ferries will depart from Beach 108th Street and Beach Channel Drive, where NYCEDC has installed a temporary landing, and stop at Pier 11 in Lower Manhattan with free transfers between Pier 11 and East 34th Street in Midtown.
